Cinematic Film Festival puts the editors in focus. It devotes itself to the relationship between films and editors. It invites editors to present their films and talk about their work.
The festival this year wants to pay homage to the editors for their work and address the post-production work on the film, dedication, innovation and quality in the field of film editing and post-production.
With the Lifetime Achievement Editing Award the festival honors a European editor for his or her outstanding editing and contribution to European film culture.
Cinematic tries to discover new talents in European cinema with the Eye on Films program for first or second films of European directors and Cinematic Shorts Program.
Also, since its beginnings, Cinematic is focusing on young people to attract a wider audience to its screenings offering workshops designed for children, students and young professionals.
In recent years the demand for watching films online has been growing rapidly alongside the development of online platforms and portable devices. Cinematic works together with Video on Demand platforms in Macedonia to support the alternative distribution.
